[Update: Happy April Fools’ Day!]
Having left school behind and entered Burma, Craig decided he wanted a memento of our time volunteering with the Karen people. Rather than get a disposable souvenir, he decided to have a traditional Karen tattoo done! Luckily we were able to find a Karen tattoo artist working in Mandalay.
To be honest, the tattoo parlour wasn’t really ideal – certainly a bit dodgy by western standards.
